British Telecom teams up with Casa Systems

British Telecom, one of the world’s leading communications service providers, is jointly showcasing Casa’s converged 5G service-based core network architecture with us at MWC19. As a leading provider of converged broadband infrastructure technology solutions, we recognize that 5G Core is not just for wireless service providers ― the 5G Core will support fixed broadband networks as well. As our partnership with British Telecom will demonstrate, 5G convergence of wireless and wireline networks will enable seamless experiences as subscriber services move between wireless and fixed connectivity. 

At MWC19, our joint convergence demo shows how a service-based 5G Core will accelerate British Telecom video services and enterprise VPN services for wherever its subscribers go. Using a common 5G Core, British Telecom, and other converged service providers, can optimize its network resources, resulting in lower network costs.
