5G Core Solutions
Stop by our booth and check out our market-leading Cloud Native 5G Core demo. 5G is not just about maximizing the speed across the radio interface, it represents a fundamental change to the way networks are used and architected. The real goal of 5G is to maximize revenue for the service providers. To do this, 5G must deliver the right virtual connections (network slices) with the right mix of throughput, latency and reliability for the right customers at the right time. At MWC19, we’ll display our award-winning Axyom™ Platform that delivers all of our software solutions for mobile, fixed, cable and converged Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) including the 5G Core, 4G CUPS / MEC, vBNG and more. Axyom is our web-scale, decomposed, micro-service based software architecture.
RAN Solutions
Our RAN solutions equal big opportunities when it comes to unlocking packet performance. We will spotlight our RAN portfolio, including 4G small cells, 5G RAN, CBRS and private LTE. We don’t sell one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we team with our customers to solve the challenges of densification with solutions that address the unique challenges of deploying thousands to millions of small cells. Convergence Solutions
Now is the time for convergence. Why? For starters, many operators provide their subscribers with both mobile and fixed broadband. We believe that both mobile and fixed broadband networks should make use of the 5G Core to deliver different slices with different throughputs, latencies and reliability for wireless, wired and Wi-Fi connections. In fact, the 5G Core was meant to support convergence and the 3GPP and BBF standards bodies are working to make sure that this will happen. Aligned with edge computing, convergence enables network slicing across any access network. Swing by this demo to also learn how convergence can result in cost efficiencies with a simplified, overall network design, multiaccess connectivity and better resource utilization.
